Grant Ivens has spent his career doing one thing: turning ideas into brands.

As co-founder of Say What! Communications, he has worked alongside entrepreneurs, builders, and dreamers for over three decades — helping them find the story inside their business and the courage to tell it. He has launched his own products, built brands from scratch, and learned every lesson the hard way so you don’t have to.

An internationally award-winning designer, Grant’s recent work has been recognized by the Web Excellence Awards, w3 Awards, Anthem Awards, and the Communicator Awards — where the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, whose members include Walt Disney Studios, Netflix, and NASA, awarded his work Gold.

He is also a professor, a musician, the founding member of the Slime Dogs, and has his own line of Moonshine Infused BBQ and cocktail spices — which tells you everything you need to know about how he approaches life.

Grant lives in Stouffville, Ontario, with his wife and partner, JoJo, for over 40 years. They have two daughters and two granddaughters. He still tries to catch a puck two to three times a week.
